Fire and pest resistant: Metal can withstand heat and fire better than wood or plastic and will not emit toxic gases when burned. Steel also offers better resistance to insect infestation like ants and termites when compared to wooden pallets.

Steel-the original green material: Steel can be reused and remanufactured and does not deplete natural resources as much as wood or plastic pallets.
